Barstool Sportsbook named exclusive sportsbook of Phoenix Raceway – AZCentral.com

Barstool Sportsbook has been named the exclusive sportsbook of Phoenix Raceway, NASCAR announced on Wednesday.

Barstool Sportsbook is part of Penn Interactive, a subsidiary of Penn National Gaming, Inc.

“Phoenix Raceway is a state-of-the-art entertainment destination that prides itself on delivering a best-in-class fan experience,” Phoenix Raceway President Julie Giese said in a statement. “Our partnership with Penn National Gaming and Barstool Sportsbook takes this to another level. It will help us continue our mission of redefining the way we engage fans and connect with new audiences.”

A release from NASCAR said that Barstool Sportsbook is expected to take an active role in promoting NASCAR odds across its properties and sports betting app and that Barstool Sportsbook will feature unique promotions and odds boosts for fans betting in Arizona and will be prominently featured with at-track signage and via NASCAR’s social and digital channels.

“As our first authorized gaming operator, Penn National has been invested in engaging NASCAR fans since we began building our position in the sports betting space,” Tim Clark, Chief Digital Officer, NASCAR said in a statement. “We couldn’t be more excited to provide our partners with access to our passionate fan base in the greater Phoenix market.”

Barstool Sportsbook is available in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. The partnership with Phoenix Raceway and NASCAR allows the sportsbook to apply for a sports betting license in Arizona to offer its state-of-the-art mobile app and open a retail sportsbook.

Arizona’s sports betting law allows for 20 total sports betting licenses with up to 10 to be associated with professional sports franchises or facilities and up to 10 associated with federally recognized tribes in the state.

Other Arizona sports betting partnerships so far include the Caesars Sports with the Arizona Diamondbacks, DraftKings with TPC Scottsdale, FanDuel with the Phoenix Suns and Bally’s Corporation with the Phoenix Mercury.
