Circle K is giving away free coffee Wednesday in an effort to change negative perceptions about convenience-store’s java. Customers are entitled to one free cup of any size on Jan. 25 at stores in Arizona and around the nation.
The company said it recently installed self-serve barista-quality coffee machines in its more than 7,000 stores across the U.S., filling them with 100% sustainably sourced premium beans. It claims that recent taste tests resulted in a “resounding vote of confidence from guests who unanimously loved the Circle K coffee.”
“We imagine after trying our coffee, you will love it as much as we do,” said David Hall, vice president of global food service at Circle K, in a prepared statement.
Circle K is owned by Canada-based Couche-Tard, which operates nearly 14,300 of the convenience stores globally.
