TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Women’s Tennis welcomes Peter Francis to the coaching staff as the Assistant Coach.
In his junior career, Francis was a top 10 junior in the United Kingdom while being in the top 200 in the ITF junior rankings. In college, he collected numerous accolades such as being a National Player of the Week and was a four-time All-American for Embry Riddle University.
From 2013-2016, Francis was the travel coach for Coco Vandeweghe, who at the time was one of the top-10 female tennis players in the world. He then moved on to be a professional coach for SportimeNY in New York for many of the top junior tennis players from around the world.
For the 2020-2021 season, Francis joined the Georgia Gwinnett College as an assistant coach for both men’s and women’s, where he won a NAIA National Championship with both squads.
