- Tap the three dots on the left-hand side if you are using Twitter on your web browser (if you are using the Twitter app, click you profile picture in the upper left hand corner)
- Tap on “Settings and Privacy”
- Tap “Privacy and safety”
- Tap on “Audience and tagging” and then turn on “Protect your Tweets”
How to unprotect your tweets
If you want to unprotect your tweets you can also easily change your settings on a web browser or in the Twitter app.
